Admission
Admission procedure
Selections for the Doctorate in Business Administration are based on application file and individual motivation interview.
- Documents required for submitting online application: Resume, Degrees, Short abstract of research project.
- To enter the programme, an initial selection of applications is made, followed by an interview.
Who can apply?
The program is open to applicants holding:
Master’s degree or equivalent (including MBA and EMBA) with at least 5 years of professional experience.
In order for students to benefit from optimal learning conditions, the number of places available in each programme session is limited. Available places are reviewed after each admission session. Whenever a cohort is full, admissions fors the programme are closed.
Admission criteria
For admission, the applicant must satisfy the following:
- The applicant for DBA program is a holder of a Master’s degree in the area of Business or Management or related areas with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0, or its equivalent
- The applicant achieved the minimum required score of proficiency test in English with a valid certificate as the following: For DBA program taught in English, the applicant has achieved a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent. Exemptions may apply on a case basis based on evaluation by the academic team
- The applicant passed the motivation interview before the Admission Committee to determine the suitability of the research project to the research strategy of EM Normandie Business School.

- Official university transcripts and graduation certificates attested by the appropriate authorities
- Proof of application for an Equivalency Certificate obtained from the UAE Ministry of Higher Education for graduate degrees from universities outside the UAE
- A valid certificate of proficiency test in English
- Copy of a valid passport and identity card
- Emirates ID (for UAE nationals and residents)
- CV and experience certificate
- Short abstract of research project- 250 words
